Amit is the business lead, responsible for strategy development, operations, financial management and partnership engagements. He previously spent 25 years in investment banking, business consulting and development practice in India, US and Switzerland. He holds a Master’s in International Development from Columbia University, New York. He is a recipient of the prestigious Opportunity Collaboration Fellowship 2022, SOCAP Entrepreneur Scholarship 2017, Echoing Green Climate Fellowship 2015, and was named as a finalist for the Waislitz Global Citizen Award 2021 and 100 Most Inspiring Social Entrepreneurs Around the World by Social Enablers in 2017. His personal goals are to use clean energy as a catalyst for economic empowerment and social justice and advocating for significantly increasing DRE's share in India’s energy mix. He excels at development of inclusive and customer-centric business models.
